Statler Maloof Dog Park is located at 8 mile and Harper inside Herman Brys Park.
Surrounding the East and South ends of Herman Brys Park on Harper Avenue is 53,842 square feet of fenced in space named the Statler-Maloof Bark Park. Named after the local resident and well-known businessman, Fred Maloof and his 12-year-old dog Statler.
Picnic tables and small overhead rain shelters are located within the park. The park is also divided into two areas, a larger area for large dogs, and a small play area for small dogs. The dog park has been in existence since late 2006.

Please note: The dog park pass expires December 31st of the year purchased.
How to Apply
Brand new members are required to attend an etiquette class covering the rules and regulations of the park before a membership may be purchased. The class is held at the Parks and Recreation office at the St. Clair Shores Civic Arena. Please refer to the dog park rules for class dates and times.
When applying for a membership into the park, you should visit the Department of Parks and Recreation. Remember to bring the paper license on the dog along with valid shot records (these include Rabies, DHLPP - Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus, and Bordatella). All of those shots are required in order to become a member.
