St. Clair Shores Municipal Pool & Waterslide

The pool will be open Friday, July 3rd through Sunday, July 5th, from 12:00 pm. to 8:00 p.m. The Pool will open Thursday-Sunday beginning July 9th.

2020 AQUATICS FLYER

A source of refreshing entertainment for the whole family is the St. Clair Shores Municipal Pool and Waterslide. Located next to the Lac Sainte Claire Park (behind City Hall), this facility is convenient and fun. The pool is open from Noon to 8 p.m.

Persons using the waterslide must be at least 42 inches tall. Double sliding is not allowed. Metal objects of any kind are not allowed on the waterslide. Waterslide currently undergoing maintenance - scheduled opening July 9th

SPLASH ZONE IS OPEN 10A-8P DAILY

Pool attendees must present proof of residency in the form of a driver’s license or SCS park pass to receive the resident rate. All park entrants must show a park pass to enter Lac Sainte Clair Park.

  • Wristbands purchases are good for any additional open swim session on the same day, provided there is room under the overall capacity


Family Pool Passes

Family pool passes are available for purchase at the Parks and Recreation front desk.  The seasonal family pool pass includes up to four people.  This would consist of two parents and two minor children 17 years of age or younger or one parent with three minor children.  Minor grandchildren may also be included on a seasonal family pool pass.  It covers unlimited admission to the pool and the waterslide. This family pool pass does not cover twilight swimming, lap swimming, or adult aerobics. Check out the 2020 AQUATICS FLYER

Family pool passes do not allow guest privileges, therefore one would have to use their park pass in order to bring someone into the park. That person would be charged the daily admission rate.

Family pool passes are available for purchase at the Parks and Recreation front desk, or at the Pool.

Senior Water Aerobics (5 weeks, beginning July 13th)

Senior Water Aerobics will be offered on a smaller scale this summer. In accordance with the precautions being taken at the Senior Center, those who wish to participate in the Senior Water Aerobics program must go through a pre-screening checklist before entering the pool.

Two separate spaces will be afforded to Senior Citizens wishing to participate Monday - Wednesday  from 11:45 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Please arrive swimming attire by 11:30, and bring a towel! Showers will not be available. A maximum of 50 participants will be allowed into the pool each day for Water Aerobics, and up to 20 for lap swimming. For the duration of 2020, this program will open to only residents of St. Clair Shores. Punch Cards good for 20 uses will be available at both the Pool and Parks & Recreation Office for $20.00.

Lifeguard Training Sessions

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this program has been cancelled for Summer 2020 and will return in Summer of 2021.

St. Clair Shores Sea Serpents Swim Team

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this program has been cancelled for Summer 2020 and will return in Summer of 2021.

The St. Clair Shores Sea Serpents swim team is formed each year and competes against the five Grosse Pointes. Includes competitive swimmer, the advanced competitive swimmer, and the long course competitive swimmer. The cost is $105.00 and try-outs are usually held in May.
